Reference copy, not a submission
This page is a public, prefilled copy of ICANN’s application questions, kept for reference. It has not been filed with ICANN, and nothing on this page submits anything. Real applications are made only through ICANN’s TLD Application Management System (TAMS) portal while an application round is open.
- Fee (set by ICANN): the 2026 Round gTLD evaluation fee is USD 227,000 per application (ICANN gTLD Evaluation Fee FAQ; Applicant Guidebook V3-2026.10.07, §1.1.2 and §3.3). A .Brand designation adds a separate USD 500 .Brand TLD Eligibility Evaluation fee (ICANN FAQ). For comparison, the 2012 round fee was USD 185,000 (2012 Applicant Guidebook, §1.5.1).
- Timing: the 2026 Round submission window ran 30 April – 12 August 2026 (23:59 UTC) and is closed. ICANN sets the dates and fee of any later round.
- Eligibility notes from the Guidebook: the applicant must be a legal entity (“natural persons and sole proprietorships do not qualify”), and a .Brand TLD needs a registered trademark plus Trademark Clearinghouse Signed Mark Data. Those items are marked [Albert to provide] below.
