"body": "Hello xAI team,\n\nI'm Albert Lane, an independent infrastructure developer in Portland, Oregon. I build and operate albertlane.net, a production site on Cloudflare Workers with an account system, a research archive, a sitemap and indexing pipeline, a live streaming service (ALDI TV), and ALDI Forge, a developer platform at forge.albertlane.net.\n\nI'm proposing a paid engagement to build backend integrations for the xAI API. The first deliverable would be a production research-assistant backend. It would take chat requests over a POST endpoint, keep conversation history, support declared response modes, and keep API keys as server-side secrets only. I'd build it on my own infrastructure and could license it to xAI or deliver it for xAI's own deployment.\n\nProposed terms:\n- Scope: a written statement of work agreed before any work starts\n- Pricing: a fixed fee per milestone, or an hourly rate, to be agreed\n- API usage: xAI provides development API credits for building and testing\n- Ownership: I keep ownership of my existing code, and new work is licensed under terms we agree in writing\n\nMy license terms require in-person agreement, with verbal and written authorization from me, before any license takes effect. I'm glad to set up a call to discuss the scope.\n\nThank you,\nAlbert Lane\nhttps://albertlane.net | X: @AlbertLane_net",
